A Classic Ork Returns For Warhammer 40K’s Festive Period
December 14, 2020 by brennon
Continuing with the release of special miniatures for the festive season, Games Workshop previewed a new Warhammer 40,000 Ork (yes, an Ork!) over the weekend. Gorzag Gitstompa & Nikkit are going to be landing in Warhammer Stores from 26th December through until 3rd January.

Gorzag Gitstompa, in particular, may look familiar to those who made the trek to Games Day back in times of yore and picked up the Limited Edition miniature in doing so. He, in turn, was actually based on a piece of artwork from the front cover of Gorkamorka. Gitstompa clearly has quite the pedigree then and I'd imagine there are a few budding warbosses already considering picking him up.

As well as Gitstompa you've got his faithful if consistently scared buddy called Nikkit. Who wouldn't want to be trying to scram with a bag full of extra dakka? I think both models are looking neat and they should be a fun addition to any Ork army on the tabletop. It's obviously good to actually see a new greenskin too. Who knows; maybe we'll see this open the floodgates next year?

If you want to get your hands on this miniature but you can't get out to snag him over the few days after Christmas then have no fear. Games Workshop has mentioned that Gorzag Gitstompa & Nikkit will be available later on down the line as a duo via their webstore too. The end of this month simply offers up a way to pick them both up in advance.
So, if you're interested in perhaps using these two as the start of a new Ork Kill Team then maybe considering checking out your local Warhammer store soon.
What do you make of Gorzag Gitstompa & Nikkit?

Love the design… can’t wait to see them being “sold out” as soon as I find time to look at the GW webstore… :S
They should be on the webstore much later on and at that point, I reckon there will be enough to go around.
I really hope so 😉
Good to know Ben.?
thankfully mine is painted so I don’t need to replace him
A painted mini? What heresy is this?!
if it’s any consolation I have no idea where it is
You nearly gave me a heart attack!
Be a nice figure for my OrkHulk!
Though I have a feeling I may go for some Kromlech Afrika Korps Orks.
Your place is assured!
Normal service is restored.
You would lost your place as Hobby God if you hadn’t , though the painted bits a suprise!
Ooh he looks great one please.
Is this on the OTT store guy’s?
Not until it becomes widely available I’d imagine
Nice will give me time to get my wallet out of life support Lol.
Was thinking of some paints as well.
Give the gift of Nobz for Christmas!
Those two look really good.
I wish they had leaned farther into that artwork. The changes from the art all make the mini seem less dynamic and exciting to me.
Agree – that would have looked far more dynamic. It looks like it would be easy enough to swap the blade and handle around. A few shell cases popping out the top of the gun would be easy to do as well – both of which would bring it much closer to the art.
LOL I have a feeling I’ll be repeating @sundancer with this one, but MORE ORKS, PLEASE!!!
…Though they did bring back Necromunda after so long…could a rerelease of Gorkamorka be on the horizon?
Concretly this is a new version to a classic mini from gorkamorka 🙂
I love the look of this and will try to get one for my (hidden) Ork project atm!
we need more of them
