Continuing with the release of special miniatures for the festive season, Games Workshop previewed a new Warhammer 40,000 Ork (yes, an Ork!) over the weekend. Gorzag Gitstompa & Nikkit are going to be landing in Warhammer Stores from 26th December through until 3rd January.

Gorzag Gitstompa, in particular, may look familiar to those who made the trek to Games Day back in times of yore and picked up the Limited Edition miniature in doing so. He, in turn, was actually based on a piece of artwork from the front cover of Gorkamorka. Gitstompa clearly has quite the pedigree then and I'd imagine there are a few budding warbosses already considering picking him up.

As well as Gitstompa you've got his faithful if consistently scared buddy called Nikkit. Who wouldn't want to be trying to scram with a bag full of extra dakka? I think both models are looking neat and they should be a fun addition to any Ork army on the tabletop. It's obviously good to actually see a new greenskin too. Who knows; maybe we'll see this open the floodgates next year?

If you want to get your hands on this miniature but you can't get out to snag him over the few days after Christmas then have no fear. Games Workshop has mentioned that Gorzag Gitstompa & Nikkit will be available later on down the line as a duo via their webstore too. The end of this month simply offers up a way to pick them both up in advance.

So, if you're interested in perhaps using these two as the start of a new Ork Kill Team then maybe considering checking out your local Warhammer store soon.

What do you make of Gorzag Gitstompa & Nikkit?
