Happy Weekender all. Always happy to see Warploque getting some love. Northumbrian are just brilliant, I agree like Warploque I love that quirkiness
Quirky is the way forward when it comes to Fantasy I say!
I had a conversation with Alex of Warploque during a live stream he held and we agree not everything has to be grim dark or high fantasy. Those can both be great games but a little humour and character just makes the mini pop in my opinion and overall it’s Fun.
The weekend has started!
Oh… it’s the weekend again! ? Slaanesh, oh Slaanesh where have you been? The lure of those minis is irresistible… ????
Slaanesh is pleased that you are drawn to their servants! I do like the new miniatures they’ve done for Slaanesh; it’s a nice take on their power.
It’s the Weekend!!
Really is this time!
More Gnomes and still no David Bowie figure!
TGIF!
Happy weekend to one and all.
Having said that,it’s tinged with a touch of ” here we go again ” as Adepticon 2021 has apparently been cancelled. Will we see other shows / expo’s follow suit ?
It is rough seeing that AdeptiCon ’21 has had to be cancelled but I think they’ve done it for good reasons considering it hits so soon in 2021 (relatively).
When it comes to some of the other Expos during the Summer and Autumn I guess its fingers crossed that it all comes up good! It will be interesting to see if Salute goes ahead-considering when it comes about.
Not a game I would play myself, but it would make a most excellent present for my daughter.
Yay the weekender show.
No funky intro?
I’m sure funky intros will be back in good time.
Great news it’s always good to start with a laugh Ben.
Good to see Ben’s heating is working and he doesn’t need to wear the tea cosy on his head this week ?
It’s usually because my hair is unruly rather than anything haha. Sometimes, regardless of what I do, it’s all over the place!
That’s a good reason, @dignity over to you…….?
Wow no air guitar i bet that deflated your excitement @avernos
how fast can the cavalry go? Ramming speed Ha.
You can still get top Trumps Ben.
In the UK anyway.
You excellent gentlemen, this would be awesome to ein.
nice one guys.
Halflings, the chihuahuas of fantasy. ?
It’s certainly going to become a thing now!
Not fussed on any of the Warcry boxes. Not enough Lizards for me. Good to see Dreadball getting some love.
Should be some Seraphon coming up very soon for Warcry so see if that works for you!
Great show as ever! Have a fantastic weekend folks!
Oh wow! Thanks guys. The Black Panther diorama was a lot of fun and very different to what I’ve done previously.
Your right most of the elements for the background were taken from my garden and then repainted ?
Top work mate it looks amazing ?
Thank you ?
AoS models always tempts me but the game itself does not. I’m not so fond of the always changing rules. (I understand that it’s probably needed.)
So I get some models and play around how I want instead.
Your hobby so your rules – always a good way to look at it.
Classic gnomes! Ha ha
Not a good week, glad to have something fun to distract me
Don’t recall Bill and Ted films being great, or even good. Weren’t they just a couple of morons like in Wayne’s world?
I found it a charming counter to those serious “messing with time” sf stories that were around (bonus point for Dr. Who reference with the phone booth). Basically, their characters (which were indeed like WW) were the *last* people you wanted mucking about with the time line. Although I watched it for George Carlin. 😛
I’ve been tempted to AoS for a while and this isn’t helping! Too much to paint already!
We’re in danger of flunking most heinously tomorrow, Ted
