Modiphius’ Dune Roleplaying Game Pre-Order Date Announced
November 25, 2020 by brennon
Dune: Adventures In The Imperium is the new roleplaying game based on the books by Frank Herbert, Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson as well as the movie which is on the horizon. Modiphius has announced the pre-order date for this rather monolithic universe.
Dune: Adventures In The Imperium // Modiphius
Pre-orders are going to be launching for the new book and a host of accessories in the second week of December 2020. In this game, you'll take on the role of elite agents from the various noble houses within the Dune universe, working to control Arrakis and the power of the spice Melange.
This is a world which is as much filled with political intrigue and backstabbing as it is Sci-Fi action on a grand scale. If you're someone who loves the idea of delving deeper into the Dune world then this has probably been on your radar for a while. All of this is run through the 2d20 System which Modiphius has used for the likes of Star Trek Adventures, Conan and most recently Dishonoured.

For those who sign up and grab themselves a pre-order of the new roleplaying game, you'll be able to claim a PDF preview of the rules before the Spring launch. In addition to being available through Modiphius, local retailers will also be able to pre-order the rules for you too.
The cover that you can see above has been crafted by the very talented Bastien Lecouffe-Deharme, but you'll also be able to pick up special edition covers which pledge allegiance to House Atreides, House Harkonnen or the Imperial House of Corrino. There will also be options to pick up a Gamesmaster Screen, Journal, Dice Set and more.
Are you tempted to check out this roleplaying game?

For some reason this makes me want to grab a copy of The Metabarons RPG and give it a go.
It’s actually based on the Star Wars D6 System. But it is also a nice read, if you like this graphic novel.
And there was a dune RPG before from Last Unicorn Games, with the artwork of the old card game.
I will give this one a chance too.
Ooh nice.
definately. Still one of the best sci fi novels ever, just read Dune and enjoy
Spice must flow.
