Plastic Soldier Company has another Pacto Starter Army for you to get stuck into for Mortem Et Gloriam. This time around they're showing off a limited edition Carthaginian Army which comes with two free elephants!
Carthaginian Pacto Starter Army // Mortem Et Gloriam
There are 250 versions of this boxed set which come with all of the options that you'd expect from a Carthaginian army alongside those two free elephants which give you a little bit more strength on the battlefield. Inside the set...
- 3x Mounted Generals
- 30x African Spearmen
- 2 x Gallic Warriors
- 6x Punic Cavalry
- 6x Spanish Cavalry
- 12x Numidian Cavalry
This means that you've got the core elements of a good army to use right out of the box with Mortem Et Gloriam. All of the miniatures are available in the Ultracast material that Plastic Soldier Company have been using recently based on the old metal sculpts from Corvus Belli.

The painted examples that you're seeing here come from Robin Spence and Chris Walker and show off the diverse arrangement of options that you get to use when playing as Carthaginians.

As well as those miniatures which have come from Carthage and the surrounding area, you've also got a lot of additional troops which have been brought in to serve under your generals from different cultures too.

In a lot of cases, it isn't a massive leap to assume that pretty much all of these different factions had a bone to pick with the Roman Empire so it's not a stretch to see how they could have banded together to stick it to Rome.
So, if you want to pick up a new army with some special elephants, make sure to dive in and check out their listing online.
Are you tempted?

I don’t play historical games but these look nice and free elephants are always great.
But I think I’d rather play the Roman Empire so I say: “ceterum censeo carthaginem esse delendam”
Ooh carthaginians an no elephants or are they still to come.
Elephants will be sold in the support pouches they do
Their on the trunk route? Lol
That was the deal clincher for me! Carthage and Alexandrian Successors are the two most interesting factions in ancients because of their diverse army lists.
