Basically I’ve spent the past two days going back and forth, putting stuff in the cart and taking it out against trying to decide on a 6mm project and all I managed to do was narrow it down to this.

Basically I’m going to let you guys decide what I do. I’ll check back in 24 hours and get whatever wins.

You know 6mm Napoleonic’s will just lead to Austerlitz, right? 😉

@evilstu that’s what I want to see. Vicariously through the project system is the only way I’ll be able to do Naps this side of retirement.

@evilstu not it won’t shut up you don’t know me bro. Haha yeah that’s basically where I was looking at going, 6mm Blucher for the Early Napoleonic War.

I can never get enough of seeing Napoleonics. Second choice might be Scottish War of Independence, because it is not something I see very often irrespective of scale.

@elessar2590 LOL – Well keep us posted on the outcome – you know we are going to demand on-going project updates, right? 😉

I’ll say ECW but with addition of TYW to give greater flexibility

@torros I did the same for the same reason, but would have been hard-pressed to make a call otherwise – all the projects on that list looked like great fun.

@evilstu  Yeah there all good project ideas.  I would be thinking about rulesets as well. For Napoleonics I think a ruleset where 1 stand equals a brigade makes it a doable project otherwise I fear for Dylan’s sanity

For ECW I would maybe look at For King and Parliament which is the ECW version of To the Strongest

    Results are in aaaaaaaaand

Napoleonics wins! By only 1 vote which is surprising.

I’ll put up a project some time either today or tomorrow and start looking at what type of stuff I need to get. I want to go early Napoleonic when the Austrians were still wearing the cool helmets and since it’s already been alluded to I kind of have to build up towards Austerlitz don’t I?

    Poll

Many thanks to everyone for helping me finally make a decision.

Which period of Napoleonics will you be doing?

@torros the War of the Third Coalition. I’ve always been interested in doing a proper Austrian force since they were the first Napoleonic minis I ever picked up back in 2012 in 20mm.

The Goal will be Austerlitz but I’ll work up to it by setting some smaller goals. With all white uniforms I should be able to paint them pretty quickly.

Just tackling the Austrians, or planning on the allied Russians and an opposing French force too?
