Gerry is taking a look at another box from Wargames Atlantic that is packed to the brim with wargaming miniatures. This time we return to the trenches of World War I with some German infantry that are for the 1916-1918 period. There are 30 hard plastic figures at 28mm in the box with a variety of head and weapon options as you might expect from the folks at Wargames Atlantic.
Will you be digging out some trenches on you tabletop gaming terrain?
There nice figures but one torso with a grenade bag would have been nice
I like the look of these. I’m currently reading Storm of Steel by Ernst Jünger which has got me in the mood for some WW1 stuff!
Great looking figures for German unit’s.
Pretty cool kit but I feel it’s a bit niche and really more for conversions or collecting for the time being
you should give Blood and Valor a look, skirmishing WWI action on a small table, ideal for these
These will work well to convert into Chinese Nationalist and Warlord armies from 1920-1943. Once you get into WW2 period you’ll need Blitzkrieg German rifles for the. Nationalists.
Very nice kit. It is clearly aimed at depicting the so called “Sturmtruppen”.
The submachine gun is a Bergmann (manufacturer), if I remember correctly one of the first submachine guns ever produced.
If there is St at the beginning of a word, you rather pronounce it like Sh. Shtalhelm for instance.
Is there going to be French figure set as well?
