From out of lockdown came the Death Guard!

About the Project
With the release of War of the Spider my Chaos Space Marines took a back seat as the Death Guard gained new rules. 2020 soon put pay to any regular gaming which prompted me to get the Death Guard force finished - my current target is to have a fully painted army by the end of the year... we will see!

Plague Marines
I have now completed eight more Plague Marines, which now brings my total of completed Plague Marines to 16. I need to get photos for the previously painted Marines.
For the weathering on these models I used oil paints to add the dirty streaks. This is the first time that I have tried this technique and I feel it is well worth the time as working with the oils can provide a more forgiving way of getting subtle results without the risk of the pooling of washes.
Progress so far...
I have had a modest Death Guard army for a couple of years but have only started to play them seriously and make good progress painting into 2020, COVID curtailed their tabletop appearances.
