Unleash Snarling Phyrr Cats Into Necromunda’s Underhive
November 11, 2020 by brennon
Games Workshop teased another new set of miniatures coming to the Underhive of Necromunda soon. Slinking and snarling Phyrr Cats are prowling through the darkness to hunt down any Ganger who might have strayed from the right path.

These Phyrr Cats are just as dangerous as the big Cyber-Mastiffs that you've seen patrolling the corridors of the Underhive. You'll often find them coaxed to the side of Escher Gangers as status symbols as well as attack animals.
Unlike the smaller Phelynx, these Phyrr Cats are larger and more dangerous and have an element of autonomy to their approach to combat. Unlike other "pets" they don't need to stay within three inches of their owners and can range out to a mighty nine inches. These means they can be truly let off the chain!

As you might imagine, the Phyrr Cats can also land on their feet and can fall from greater heights with ease thanks to one of their special rules. These seem like an awesome addition to the world of Necromunda which once again builds on the background of the game. I love these new alien creatures which give us a peek into the day-to-day goings-on of Necromunda Gangers and Imperial citizens.
Are you tempted to pick these up?

These are lovely. Be great for WarCry, Age of Sigmar too
For sure – not overtly Sci-Fi so could easily be found in the Mortal Realms.
I’ve written it before, i’ll write it again: I’d really like someone to do a miniature of that artwork.
Those look really good.
Great beasts to add to many games.
LOL I am trying so hard to not make a “crazy cat lady” joke about the Eschers right now.
Hang in there man. You got this ?
Nice, they’d slip into an Age of Magic Warband very easily.
Now yes….phyr cat…. now yes 🙂
I think they’d make some worthy pets for some of my Dark Elf ladies.
