45th Highlander Rifles “Galwegian”
Saving the best until last. The Galwegians. These models are amazing. I don’t think I done them full justice. All the models in this appear to be actors playing real and fictitious Scottish characters. I love them. And looking at the rules I wish I could get 15 of them and a lieutenant option for them.

I still don’t know why this faction is being retired and no longer sold. I mean it’s great that they will continue to do rules for them. They don’t appear to fit with N4 at all but the rules for them are not out yet so there may be a couple of surprises to help with the way N4 has moved the game. I don’t know. What other game can you get Space Scots. The more I painted the more I loved (until I got to the Wulven)
I have 6 models left to paint which arrived are Scots Guards and Pavel which is not available in this sectorial… Don’t know why but I may just use him as a Caterans, but you never know Corvus Belli may include him in the rules change next month.
My favourite models so far are Cameronian and McMurrough they even look excellent together. I hope the rules do not change to much because they will almost be an auto include for me. That’s me up to date! More to come but only 6 more Scots.
I think I remember Koni saying in one of the podcasts that “Free play”, i.e. no 15 troopers limit, would be an option in ITS – same way Limited Insertion or Tactical Window were the options previously, so not all is lost for the charge for freedom. On the other hand, apparently Jo McCullough of Frostgrave fame is working on Stargrave (I guess self-explanatory) to be released next year, you have a great warband here, should you ever want to try that game (not to mention Core Space and some other titles from Osprey). Yeah, there is nothing stopping anyone changing things up and either house ruling, not holding yourself to ITS standards or doing something more thematic. I have enough games though at the moment. Oddly mostly Covus Belli. I think Defiance is about to be dispatched. I have grand ideas of trying to win a satellite tournament or at best Interplanetario with them. Sadly this has been impacted by Corona which caused me to only have played for 2 days this year (about 6 games, 4 of Code one).
