Hold Warriors
For the colour scheme I have decided to go with predominantly dark, cold, neutral colours. An analogous colour scheme of warm orange, yellow and red help the models pop. In the end I will achieve more contrast in the model using snow bases to contrast with the overall dark models.
The models were all undercoated with grey seer. John’s idea of using basilicanum grey as a preshade looked good so I used it too. Wooden weapon handles were painted wyldwood and leather clothes were painted skeleton horde. Iyanden yellow was used to pick out some metal details, gyph-hound orange was used for the beards and blood angels red was used for knee pads, shoulder plates and details on the shields. Darkoath flesh was used for what little skin is exposed on the models.
