North Star Military Figures showed off some new previews of the 28mm scale test miniatures which are going to be popping up alongside the Oathbreakers expansion to Oathmark: Battles Of The Lost Age. See what you think of these plastic skeletons!

This is going to be part of the new 28mm plastic kit which will support the Oathbreakers expansion. In that book (which we looked at earlier in the week) you'll find options to introduce the undead into your Oathmark campaigns and these miniatures can make up the bulk of that force.

So far we've seen some options for these skeletons with bows and also hand weapons and shields. So, you've got the options present within the set to make the rank and file you need in your games when building a mass battle force.

The miniatures here match up quite nicely to the artwork that we saw on the cover of Oathbreakers and have that awesome shambling quality to them from classic Fantasy. It works very well with the Tolkienesque elements of Fantasy that Oathmark was woven into his aesthetic through their releases.

It looks like the miniatures will be typical to the North Star Military Figures plastic range in that the legs and bodies are integrated into the base with the arms, heads and weapon options being available to plug into place. Let's hope they aren't too fiddly to put together!

When it comes to painting, splash some off-white on those bones and paint the weapons and armour up in bronze (with a little bit of weathering!) and you'd have a fine army finished in no time.

Are you tempted by these from this early look?
