Black Scorpion Have A Giant Kickstarter Coming For Cutlass!
September 21, 2020 by avernos
Black Scorpion does some fantastic miniatures for their games, one in particular stands head and shoulders (and knees) above the rest and that is the immense giant for their game of fantasy piracy Cutlass! He's been out of production for a while but Black Scorpion has decided to bring him back via Kickstarter as they explain below.
Giant // Black Scorpion
The Cutlass giant was easily the most requested model we made to return. Due to the sheer size, 185mm! he needs a special casting set up which interferes with our normal operations too much. To this end, Kickstarter is a perfect platform to see how many we need and cast them efficiently. Therefore he won't be released online afterwards.
The model has been remastered with improved details and fittings.
We will be limiting the number (to 110) which should be more than enough, but just in case we want a number we know we can handle without adverse delays as our normal operations are busier than ever.
Giant // Cutlass!
As you can see he is a truly gigantic model with some beautiful details and I'm not just talking about lady hung from his rope belt for lunch. Expected launch date is Friday 25th September, lasting four days. As the Kickstarter is due to be a short campaign with limited numbers so if you're interested you can be notified of the launch by going here and clicking the button. Even if you're not a player of Cutlass a 185mm tall giant could probably find a home in a lot of fantasy armies, or as a uniquely rare sculpt for a painter to show their skills
