It’s the XLBS Show …… Happy Sunday CoGs! Love the Chest for storage of your game @warzan I’ve used boxes similarly for my Blood and Plunder minis and coins. The Path to Conquest is all-consuming for me this week. Well…….not completely all-consuming. I did make some progress on my full-scale Dalek that has a wheelchair built into it. I managed to hook up the digital voice box that has integrated Dalek laser gun firing sound. The lights that activate with the sound of gun stay on while the sound is active. Of course, the voice changing is the coolest part… Read more »
They chased down that guy getting arrested in the video recently. These days he’s an artist. It turned out to be the wrong person however was wanted for other minor charges anyway. His name is Cecil George Edwards.
I’ve always wondered why the didn’t re-do Heroquest with rules that weren’t shit. Surely it was in GW and D&D’s best interests to get into the minds of the under 10YO kiddies.
Warren post your rules somewhere.
Btw I suspect GW will have another crack at a dungeon-delve in the not to distant future. They have said that whilst WHQ Blackstone Fortress has run it’s course (with all of the last 3 expansions selling out worldwide), GW have stated they would revisit WHQ. WHQ BSF was a massive success for them, unlike WHQ Silver Tower. WHQ Hammerhal was bigger than Silver Tower largely because the game’s mechanisms were better. I certainly wouldn’t be shocked to see WHQ and Mordheim (in the style of Warcry) revived to re-introduce the Old World. Llyods idea of scaling down Bolt Action… Read more »
Thank you very much for the kind words on my Star Destroyer – I’m glad people like it, especially considering all the headache it caused from time to time.
I like the royal ‘they’, but I’m one person, and I’m a guy. So that secret is out now… 😀
I still love you
You’re not alone in the love stakes, that is a simply stunning effort @fourtytwo 😀 😮
I woukd have thought using ordinary paints you would be quickerthan 20 to 25 mins per figure that you got with the contrast paints
They look good though
I’m pretty sure I saw something online about how to make your own contrast paints using the GW medium as a base for them
Happy Sunday!
If only Warren flew, he could visit Cummington in Massachusetts USA. I kid you not, when you Google the place one of the suggested search results is its Creamery!
Dammit I worked out last week’s code busters on the Sunday morning… I you hadn’t given a hint @warzan I might have been the only one! ????
Happy Sunday CoGs around the world.
Well, after hearing @lloyd talk about SS4,it’s now downloading into my PS4.
An that was the last time Warren was at a restaurant ? Lol.
@avernos he could get them in a taxi knowing our MPs?
Dungeon wolfenstine?
Happy Sunday CoGs. Late start for me, discovered Altered Carbon on Netflix last night and one episode turned into few more than planned, recommend for a great watch. Lovely golden buttons yet again, the Star Destroyer project has been a fav of mine, and really love that gaming chest that Warren set up it’s a lovely gift. I’m glad it’s just not me, I support Alex from Warploque on Paetron and I haven’t got a 3D printer because he’s a talent and I enjoy the Arcworlde community. I do get a good discount in the online store which I appreciate… Read more »
The Raven Hotel FTW
I was going to limit myself to 1 episode a night….yeah that didn’t happen. Great show and didn’t realise there was already a second season, I’m a happy bunny. Have a grand Sunday evening.
Gerry Neo Rasputin?
Judging by the title: the crew has had it with Warren and is taking a saw to his chest to see if there is a heart in there or a 3D printer or something…. with Justin assisting with clippers…. *muahahaha*
Yes, good morning, I had a terrible night and am a bit sleep deprived… it’s going to be a ride to watch this I guess….
HAPPY SUNDAY!
00:00 With that out of my system let’s watch this…. 01:00 OOOoook. I need a coffee before we continue *hits pause button* 03:00 First: I didn’t see any hint from Warren but the group efford was helping me. Plus I was the second one to get it… I wasn’t the first. So there would have been zero points anyways 😉 03:45 Ok, fair point. I’ll wear that twat as a badge of honour XD 09:15 Lloyds YouTube history…. that would be a fun thing to watch on Halloween 8) 12:27 Codes? Those look like Microsoft Product Codes… is that Windows… Read more »
Are you going to be sharing your “Hero Quest” rules once they are at a reasonable stage, what you’ve done sounds very interesting
Loven the heroquest boxy Warren can you use the mini saw to cut the channel.
Ooh hobbits V the burrow’s an badger’s animals @Lloyd
They could be good for cthulhu I think with the the tentacles?
Wow that star destroyer is fabulous. @fourtytwo
Don’t mention dropping things @warzan to fourtytwo?
Lovein the show guy’s.
3d printing is the shit! I love it. It’s the future. If the likes of GW aren’t offering a monthly subscription service to buy .stl files of new releases in five years time (much like Patreon creators do right now) they’ll really be missing a trick. Also, being able to edit .stl files – scale them up, scale them down etc. – is really really useful. I just made a traffic like from the Marvel Crisis Protocol set, in order to stuff some LEDs inside it. It would never have been possible without 3d printing. Soooo much good stuff has… Read more »
So you took up the challenge and have started MCP traffic lights with LEDs. ??
The big question is,
will you not only make the three different color lights operate and be switchable,
but also make the walk sign light up and animate?
….? (you really shouldn’t let them bait you into these things)
……….but we all do enjoy seeing your work Shine in the end.?
Happy Sunday… finally getting around be to watching XLBS..
@lloyd Chain of Command works perfectly in 15mm because the ground scale is 1/120. And it’s one man per base.
Once again – Happy Sunday everyone. First off – congratulations to the Golden Button winners. My shame for not creating a project since the first increases weekly! Secondly, @warzan both the chest and the case look fantastic. I can only imagine how much effort you actually had to put into those and the results speak volumes. I was skeptical about 3d printing when it first arrived, because I couldn’t see the cost dropping that fast, or the quality improving quickly enough to make miniature printing viable – how wrong I was! It’s certainly something I want to get into at… Read more »
so it’s not just me then, got a load of contrast paints from OTT and all the colours look the same, the onlt difference the.. the label 😐
