About the Project
Having split the recent Indomitus box with a friend, I set about building and painting the Necrons. The main colours used were.. Contrast Shyish Purple Retribution Armour Base Corax White Base Hydromel Yellow Intensity Ink from Green Stuff world Purple Tone Strong Tone Eshin Grey Gloss black primer I painted most of the models Shyish Purple with one shoulder area in Corax White All other body areas were either retribution Armour or yellow ink depending on whether I wanted them to have a glow effect or not. The guns were gloss blacked, and the glowing yellow areas had a purple Tone over them and strong Tone over the retribution Armour. The bases were sand based, then Tufts of grass added and to ally a blue flower mix from a local train model shop. The last thing added were the shoulder decals.
