Necromunda New Hired Guns In The Underhive
September 14, 2020 by avernos
If you think that it was too quiet in the depths of the Underhive then fear not for a pair of releases are on their way to aid your gangs in their incessant battle for land and domination in Necromunda.
These releases are relatively generic enough that all gangs should be able to recruit them to their roster to aid in the quest for supremacy, whether they do any good or stick around for long enough for you to complete your goal remains to be seen.
Rogue Doc and Gang Lookout // Games Workshop
First up we have a Rogue Doc and Gang Lookout. A pair that should find a home in anyone's gang. Rarely do your gangers make it unscathed through a fight and having a Doc to help patch them up (and maybe help themselves to a spare kidney while they're at it) is a boon for any leader. It's nice to see a model for the current times as well with her mask and gloves on she's already ahead of the game. The lookout is there to protect your perimeter and prevent any of your lovely stash from being carted off and will be handy for scenarios based on defending your hideout. He also has enough stuff on him to make him an interesting looking mechanic type of figure, although I don't know why he has a Bloodbowl Catcher's mitt on his belt, maybe the universes are going to be combined!
Scrutinator Primus & KB-88 // Games Workshop
The second new release is a pair of Palanite Enforcers Scrutinator-Primus Servalen and her cyber-mastiff KB-88. If you're a gang of law-abiding citizens you can hire her, although if you're a law-abiding gang
a) are you actually a gang?
b) why do you need hired guns?
That aside like the other Palanite models they are well armed and armoured without having to resort to going through someone else's trash to find a new hat, and you can be sure that Servalen and KB-88 have enough tricks up their sleeves to deal with most things a gang can bring to bear on them. With GW emphasising the law-abiding aspect, I wonder if we'll see Outlaw gangs again someday. Regardless the sculpts look great and the cyber-mastiff seems to have bulked up over previous breeds/builds.
All four of the miniatures look terrific and the Rogue Doc and Look Out especially would fit right into a lot of sci-fi games beyond Necromunda. With the Inq 28 fanbase going strong I can see all of these appearing on tables aided by the fact they're not covered in skulls they should be easy to slip into your favourite game outside of the 41st Millenium as well. They go up for pre-order this Friday 18th if you're looking to expand your gang you can pick them up from

Those look nice. I particulary like Servalen and her dog.
Nice the rogue Doc could be used for the guard medic.
I love them. The not-very-action poses might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I really think they’re great. Damn you Forge World!
Nice. I like the rogue doc.
I love doc! More old school industrial and less candle and purity seal for necro! Hell yeah!
The enforcer and his doog is cool too, the dog remind me to the cyber-dog in the Jerico comics
