…and wuuuush. That was a quick and “dirty” paintjob on two sets of speeder bikes. These are the first units I bought since release of SW:L without me buying the same amount and type of the complementing rebel troops. So this officially now tips the scale to the Empire.

As it should be.

Still have more then enough units for a game of 800 points for each side 😉

First step is priming the scouts white and the bikes black. That’s 50% of the work done. After that all metal parts on the bike (and the handlebars on the scouts) get a coat of a 50/50 mix boltgun metal and black.

Leave to dry over night.

Happy Sunday!Happy Sunday!

Next: paint the bikes brown, the sleeping bags grey and the black parts on the scouts black. Let dry again.

Bases painted black and unit colours get a prepping white. After that red and blue.Bases painted black and unit colours get a prepping white. After that red and blue.

Everything ready to be varnished.

And done. For some odd reason this is the first time the varnish has had a bit of a frosted effect but only on the edges making it look like intentional weathering. I’ll leave it at that. maybe touch up the black gloves on the scouts but currently I call them done. 🙂
