Swoop Into Wild West Exodus With The Legendary Cloud Runner

Warcradle Studios has a new option for fans of Wild West Exodus this month. Pre-orders are now live for the Legendary Cloud Runner who is swooping into battle from on high to claw at her enemies and throw them tumbling into the air.

Much like with the other Legendary models from the collection, this gives you a larger than life take on one of the characters from the miniatures game. This time around it's the turn of the Spirit Walkers and the Warrior Nation. I think of all of the factions in the game, they are my favourite, simply because they are tackling all of these technologically advanced factions with mysticism and brute strength...

"The Great Spirit manifests itself in many different ways. Spirit Walkers have the ability to alter their physical form into that of a hybrid between man and animal. Some in the Warrior Nation are blessed with the ability to move and control the flow of their life energy like Shaman such as Chief Raven Spirit. Others receive abilities that are more subtle yet no less impressive. In this way, Mahpia Napa discovered she had been gifted an affinity with animals and could understand and relate to them more easily than she could other humans. The ability was greatly increased when dealing with animals who had been touched by the Great Spirit."

I like how dominating this miniature would actually look on the tabletop, seriously dominating everything else and looking imposing as she swoops towards her enemies. Much like with the rest of the Warrior Nation, you also have the chance to go wild with the colours.

Obviously this is a render but the miniatures from Warcradle tend to be pretty on point when it comes to the final product. I mention this because I really like how the miniature is immense but shouldn't actually take that long to paint, especially because each area of the miniature seems clearly defined and is detailed enough that contrast paints would pop really well.

How would you approach painting this miniature?

"Much like with the rest of the Warrior Nation, you also have the chance to go wild with the colours..."
