For those that haven’t seen it, Mr Warren and the team have put this item up for pre-order on the store, 16 15mm minatures for £28, includes the new T80 and BMP3’s, so nice I ordered two. I won’t say any more as I don’t want to steal Ben’s thunder.

The Americans get the (‘new’) M60 Patton tanks, which aren’t in their ‘big’ starter army.

Silly question :
Why buy the starter set when you can buy the American starter army ?
Sure the latter is twice the price, but it’s also got the Hummers, M109 and Apache helicopters.

The only thing missing are the dice …

Maybe buy both and have all the tools for an American army, except the infantry?

Good stuff. I’d love to know whether the T-80 only comes as the T-80U variant. I’d hope there would be a T80B possible from the kit without having to chop it up!

At the moment for the Soviets , but you can use the Americans to boost your forces, plus there is the biggest the price!

Yes, great value. Aimed at folk who are completely new to Team Yankee, but also a steal for those of us who already have an army. My main force is British (starter army + lots of extras) and this will round out a useable 100 point American force and make a start on a Soviet army.

I think the Soviet starter box is due in November.

@bloodmoonorc chances are there are several options for the T80 on the sprue. I don’t know if they’d cover the variant you mention, because I know nothing about tanks except for the fact that Battlefront tend to have several options for most plastic vehicles.
