Cubicle 7’s Soulbound: Champions Of Order Book Previewed
August 25, 2020 by brennon
Cubicle 7 revealed a few morsels over the weekend of UK Games Expo and one of them was the cover art for the new Champions Of Order book coming to Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound.
Champions Of Order // Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound
This new cover, again by Johan Grenier, introduces a number of new heroes into the mix who could band together to take on the different threats that strive to destroy the Mortal Realms. You'll be able to fight as Knight-Zephyros, Grimwrath Berserkers, Spite-Revenants and the Alarith Stoneguard and Stonemages of the Lumineth Realm-lords.
Here is a breakdown of what's going to pop up throughout the different chapters...
- Introduction: An introduction to using Champions of Order in your game.
- The Soulbound: An expanded look at the Soulbound and their history, details on the mysterious Binding ritual that links the heroes’ souls together, and tables filled with sample Short- and Long-term Goals for your hero.
- Archetypes and Factions: This chapter contains new Archetypes, as well as rules for playing sub-factions such as the Anvils of the Heldenhammer of the Stormcast, the Ironwood Glade of the Sylvaneth, and the Kraith of the Daughters of Khaine.
- Talents and Miracles: This chapter contains almost 100 new Talents and 50 new Miracles to further customise and develop your hero!
- Spells: This chapter gives spellcasters 50 devastating new spells to unleash!
- Equipment: New Archetypes mean new equipment!
- Between Adventures: One of the most popular elements of Soulbound has been the Endeavours system, which allows players to undertake various tasks in their downtime. This chapter adds over 30 new Endeavours to choose from. As well as that, this chapter includes over a dozen new contacts players can make, from Collegiate Scholars to Kharadron Endrineers.
This seems like a very fun option for those who want to build a more diverse selection of heroes for use in Soulbound. It's neat that they've now been able to introduce the Lumineth Realm-lords into the mix as one of the newest factions for Warhammer: Age Of Sigmar; proper haughty Aelves!

You know what they say…big helmet, big…brain.
They are a very easy way to distinguish units on the tabletop.
