Customeeple have put together a deluxe Operation: Icestorm Token Pack so you can upgrade all of those ones from the box and then use them in your future Infinity games too!
So you get action tokens, range ruler, lots of cool bases, plenty of tokens for wounds and such and of course the new silhouette checker! A very nice set and if you really do like your Infinity then it would be a nice upgrade.
Is this something you'd consider for not only Operation: Icestorm but your future Infinity gaming?

OK in principle… but it’s not going to be much use for an infinity newb like me if it doesn’t contain all the tokens/templates I’ll need. For example where’s the teardrop/flamer template? Do I have all the camo etc. markers I’d need beyond the starter box scenarios?
if you were to start off with the Op:Icestorm set, then the kit has everything you need; none of the models in the set use weapons with the flamer template profiles. If you compare what’s in this kit to what you see in the unboxing video, they just made more durable versions of all the cardboard markers and tokens the set comes with to let you play infinity ‘using only the models that come in the starter’. that’s also why you’re getting custom base toppers for all 14 miniatures in this set. i’ve pre-ordered the starter set, but i wont… Read more »
I’m already thinking beyond OpIce… topping out these factions and starting another (when I find a club/group to play at PanO and Nomads will probably be fairly common!
The SMART marketing choice would have been “you’ve bought the starter box, here’s some stuff you need to play the game properly beyond that (as well as durable replacements for some of the temporary box stuff that enabled them to keep the cost down)”
rather than “Here’s dayglo plastic versions of the markers you already have”.
I would rather have the Micro Art Studio ones. Customeeple seem to… PLAIN for Infinity.
Ummm… the mobile Brigada has a Multi-Rifle AND Light Flamethrower, so you do need the small template.
I do like the silhouette profile device.
