it’s great to see these tests.
even if it doesn’t go the way you intend you keep learning from it.
I like the shields most with this technique. horses are the hardest to paint but i’m going to try it, i still have a cow lying around.
thanks Gerry.
???
Mmm I think this video is a patchy one warzan.?
No seriously a great video Gerry on the effects with different sponges to get different patterns.
Great Gerry Can and great effect. I was quite surprised that the cheapest sponge worked the best and gave the most natural look. I Guess the make up sponge would be excellence for vehicle weathering and chipping.
Maybe a good Gerry Can would be paint mdf and weather mdf buildings
Still can’t shake the Zulus can you, man? Do a complete table game project and it clings to you like random socks on your woolens in winter.
A good show for the effect in real time. Perhaps best as a rust effect tip starting with base brown and then moving into orange and maybe yellow after an initial salt chipping. I’ll go about that I think with my next display base. Thanks for the idea.
I’ll be trying this on my Faun Warband shields for AoM.
