Painting Lady Mormont

Fur

1.        Basecoat in skavenblight dinge (CP)

2.      Highlight/drybrush in mix skavenblight dinge (CP) and Dry rust (AP) (1:1 mix)

3.      Shade in agrax earthshade (CP)

4.      2nd shade in mix of 1:1 water to paint mix of step 2

5.      Drybrush in dry rust (AP)

6.      Drybrush in mix 1:1 dry rust (AP) to light rust (Ammo)

7.      Shade of mix water to mix step 6

8.      Drybrush heavy on the bottom to create a dirt effect

9.      Paint the inner side in No. 34 slate (AKRC)

Undercoat

1.        Basecoat in dark reaper (CP)

2.      Highlight in mix 1:1 dark reaper (CP) to zamesi dessert (CP)

3.      2nd highlight in mix 1:1 mix above to white

4.      Painting the trim in jungle green (AP)

Tartan

Background – Basecoat in skaveblight dinge (cp) + death guard green (CP)

1.        Basecoat in mix 1x angel green (AP) + 1x math black + 2 x Death guard green (CP)

2.      1st highlight same mix but less death guard green (CP)

 

Next step is making the squares that connect on the crosses

3.      Basecoat in 2:1 angel green (AP) + math black

4.      Highlight in 3:1 angel green (AP) + math black

 

Up next is the white lines in the green pattern

5.      Basecoat in 3:1 white to brown leather (AK)

6.      Highlight in white

Last steps: the typical red lines that finish the tartan

7.      Basecoat in 1:1 Skavenblight dinge (CP) to reddish brown mat (Aqua revell paints)

Notes: If screaming skull is basecoat on the skin also shade the skin in step 4.

Notes: Step 3 on the skin can also be drybrush but the result will be less but quicker.

                  Very easy method against very good result to paint a horse.

Notes: I did the stippling overall but you also can do it only on the high places.
