CRISIS, WHAT CRISIS! PT 2
“Stonekeeper, does this chattering animal speak for you?”
So far so good, unfortunately it goes a little south from here. The tabard stripe down the middle caused me no end of grief. I wish now I’d gone with my initial feeling and avoided bloody yellow!! Crucially I started having doubts and went to heavy with the wash and it dried to heavy. My mantra is always use medium, I ignored it at my peril and ended up having to go back in to try and calm it down but have to say I’m really disappointed in how it’s finished up. I think the best thing to do now is get it finished, leave it and come back to him at another time and try to correct him!!
Matt coat and base tidy and he’s finished, for now…
I really enjoy your project updates and appreciate the detail you add plus you do some cracking work. I purchased some army painter paints towards March, I’ve always used Citadel, and with a house move I haven’t had chance to try them out but looking at your project I think it’s time to break them out and get some painting started. Look forward to future updates long may they continue and thanks for sharing ???
Thanks appreciate the feedback! One tip I will give you using army painter the first time they do have a liquid in them to stop them drying out on the shelf. When you first open them make sure to squeeze isome out before you start. You’ll know if you need to squeeze out more if when you shake it and pour it’s seems watery. Makes a big difference to adhesion!
Right that’s great advice thanks wasn’t aware of that so will make sure I do so very much appreciated ??
