July 6, 2020 by brennon
The team at Corvus Belli are working to release another Limited Edition Graphic Novel for the world of Infinity. Titled Betrayal, this graphic novel takes you to the world of Paradiso.
Betrayal Graphic Novel // Infinity
Here is the blurb of this particular graphic novel and what you have to look forward to...
"In a hidden base deep in the jungles of planet Paradiso, Imperial Agent Adil Mehmut must determine whether his prisoner, special operative and former true hero Ko Dali, is a traitor to her country and the whole human race, or an alien that has impersonated her to divide humanity’s forces.
In this story of political and military intrigue where nothing is what it seems, Adil will test the loyalties of his partners… and of the very nation he swore to serve."
Infinity is practically anime/manga on the tabletop and so it seems a pretty simple step to have graphic novels in the mix.
Adil Mehmut // Infinity
Ko Dali // Infinity
Perhaps this will help you sort out what your next step into the world of Infinity is going to be. I'm sure it is going to be packed with wonderful artwork and some great storytelling.
Are you going to be snapping this up?

Nice I’ll be looking for the book in the shop’s then.
Really excited to see CB continuing with their graphic novels.
Assimilated by the alien Hive Mind? Ko Dali reminds me a lot of Sarah Kerrigan in Starcraft. She even looks like her with those wings, although they are mechanical now.
Awesome story line back then in Starcraft, but why reuse it so obviously? Or should I be optimistic and view it as an hommage? Not sure…. but perhaps this book will set the story to a path of its own.
There is no alien hive mind in Infinity. Her mind is altered by a self-aware artificial inteligence. The sepsitorizing is more a hommage to the cyberbrain hacking of the puppet master from ghost in the shell, then assimiliating. Altering the memories and because or thoughts of humans is a really old cyberpunk element, see also Armitage in Neuromancer. At least the question, if one main character may be manipulated in that way, is a part of almost any big name in that genre. It is almost like lamenting, about sword fights in a fanatasy story and then saying they are… Read more »
