This last book in the Psychic Awakening focuses in on the Pariah Nexus and the far-reaching influence of the Indomitus Crusade which has been trying to reunite humanity across the galaxy. However, this has raised the ire of the Necrons who have their own plans formulating in the background.
New Warhammer 40,000 Miniatures
In this book, you'll find ways to recreate these key battles around the Pariah Nexus against the Necrons. There will be new mechanics and rules for the Inquisition, building on them as a force to be reckoned with. You'll also, of course, also find developments and changes for the Necrons and the masterful Illuminor Szeras.
Illuminor Szeras // Warhammer 40,000
Illuminor Szeras has learned the secrets of biotransference and is working to try and mould the world to his liking. As well as that, he has received quite the upgrade miniatures-wise and would be a perfect addition to the Indomitus boxed set which is coming out soon. If you're looking to add a cunning and deadly leader into the mix then you won't have long to wait.
As well as Illuminor Szeras, you've also got some heroes trying to stop him. The first of these is the Necron hunter known as Lord Inquisitor Kyria Draxus.
Lord Inquisitor Kyria Draxus // Warhammer 40,000
Seen as a renegade and often looked down on as a heretic by her peers, Lord Inquisitor Kyria Draxus uses the weapons of her enemy against them. She carries a modified shuriken catapult and is linked by some means to her companion, a screeching Wyvach. She seems like the hero that the Imperium needs when it comes to dealing with these new threats.
Talking of renegades, you'll also be able to pick up the partnership of Ephrael Stern & Kyganil too.
Ephrael Stern & Kyganil // Warhammer 40K
Thought to be slain by the followers of a Slaaneshi Greater Daemon, Ephrael Stern found herself revived and ready to bring death and ruin to the forces of Chaos. Again, this had made many question her motives and her methods. She seems like the right person to have alongside Lord Inquisitor Kyria Draxus as they seek to bring low the Necron threat. She is also followed by her Harlequin companion, Kyganil, who is somehow linked to her by the weave of fate.

Finally, we also have a couple of fun books coming from Black Library. Tied to Ephrael Stern we have the collection called The Heretic Saint which provides you with an alternative version of the Daemonifuge graphic novel plus a lot of extras.

As well as the graphic novel you'll also get "a fleur-de-lis wax seal stamp and wax, six dice in a dice bag, an Ephrael Stern enamel pin, cloth bookmark and coin, and three art prints". So, if you're looking to really get stuck into the idea of being an Inquisitorial author, this might be worth taking a look at.
You can also get the graphic novel for Daemonifuge in its updated form, a full-colour version of the black and white classic.

So, if you're a big fan of the Inquisition and the Necrons then the coming fortnight is going to be a lot of fun. This seems like a great lead in to what is happening with the Indomitus Crusade and that big launch box for the new edition. I wonder what actual world-changing events are going to be triggered by the end of Psychic Awakening?
What do you think of the new releases?

Not mine.
So the new doctor strange is a necron.?
Soooo…can you make your own purity seals to ensure your book isn’t corrupted by the forces of Chaos? It is in keeping with the theme, but it seems a bit strange as an add-on.
I’m in this for Szeras, though.
Those miniatures look really good but I do wonder how long will this book be viable with 9th edition getting close. In other words will this and other Psychic Awakening books be waste of money to buy.
I like the Necron thingie, but probably can’t afford it.
