The Great Grey Massacre.
Thinning the Grey Line Proper
So down to proper business the first of the Test of Honour box set are finished. Five Ashigaru Bowman.
The basecoat on these is Wraithbone.
The cloth parts were painted Ork Flesh Contrast.
The armour was Blood Angels Red Contrast.
The bows and quivers Leviadon Blue Contrast.
The arrows are Aggaros Dunes Contrast.
The faces are Guillimand Flesh Contrast.
The arrow heads are Cobalt Alchemy Scale Color washed with Space Wolves Grey. I played about with this on a couple of the Landsknechts blades. The blue of the Space Wolves Grey really compliments the blue metallic.
As always the bases are Coat d’arms Goblin Green.
What I am really proud of is from start to finish these only took me seven days to complete. Contrast paints really do speed things up.
