Blue wolf
With the advent of White Banner Army to Yu Jing in April, we were given a new light tag called Blue Wolf. Its usefulness on the gamming table is rather suspicious as with most tags, but nevertheless big stompy robots are always cool to look at.
In that situation I felt obliged to somehow build/kitbash it (since CB haven’t even published its dossier). As you may say from my recent updates here I’m crazy on digital kitbashing lately. I used that technique to create my version of Blue Wolf and this way make CB publish official model sooner.
Couple of entries earlier I showed one gundam model kitbashed to act as the tag in question. I even painted it, but after painting it looked even more ridiculous than before – like a clown of gundams with huge feet, way too large trousers and a tiny head.
Luckily I found better model to work with.

My kitbashed version. Deleted wings/shields and one sword, added YJ spitfire with longer barrel, sign of AP characteristic on many weapons in the game.I haven’t taken many pictures during painting, but I’ll show what I have.
Typical zenithal undercoat.
Base colour, VMC Ornage brown. Other colours used were: Highlights: VGC Gold Yellow, VGC Moon Yellow, VMC Deep Yellow, White. Shadows: VMC Black Red, Brown Ink, GSW Tiger Eye Brown. The base is also 3d printed, it is Titan Forge's Cyberpunk base upscaled from 32 to 40 mm. And the final result:
Quite nice and suits.
