Old Sprue Rubble Mix
Just filling in a couple of gaps on my round skirmish board. So started with some ground up old plastic sprue, I actually used a meat grinder for this to give the sprue a rough texture. To make the rubble mix and set it in place I poured the sprue in a pot and mixed in varying amounts of black paint, ready mixed filler, pva glue, sand and wall bonding plaster powder. Don’t ask for exact amounts, I was just winging it till I got a texture I was happy with! Then I applied cardboard edging to the board to stop spillage over the edge. I then carefully applied it to the board and tried to make it look random. With the leftovers I made some random splats that I’m hoping will work as damaged ground for the board. I’ll get pics when it’s fully dried.

That’s not a bad idea ? but I have to store it on it’s side at the moment, and it’s quite heavy as it is lol. But I’d definitely consider a spinning option in the future ?
