Sorry if this has been asked before/or is somewhere I missed, but is there a limit to how many photos you put in a project update?  I’m getting round it by putting multiple posts up but I feel like I’m spamming, I really don’t want to do that

Yeah there is, not sure of the sizes though. I upload 2-3 at a time then update the post. Once they show I edit it and load another 2-3 in the same update and keep going until all the photos I want are in the post. I would also advise always saving the text you have written just in case too. I like many others have had teddy throwing moments due to losing something that took me a while to type.

Also, is it possible to put a video in the projects area or can you only place the text that links to a video?

Yes, you can embed a video from Youtube for example.

I think it’s ten single images per post but you can do more with the gallery element.

@chilledenuff I don’t think anyone on this site will think you’re spamming if your posting more pictures of cool minies, multiple posts or not. ?

@lloyd will be able to help as seems to be able to get about 150 images per post or at least it seems like that many at times

There is no “hard limit” on uploads per project entry (there might be a limit on single images per post, need to check with tom, but thats what the gallery post part is for), there is however a bit of a roulette situation currently in the back end processing which means that large raw image uploads tend to cause a timeout situation in processing.

I.e. if you upload an image directly off your phone without resizing it to less than 2048 pixels on its longest dimension that will trigger extra processing which depending on load on the server can cause issues.

While testing project uploads i have been able to upload batches of 150 raw images (file size 4.5Mb approx) at a time, took an age but did work.

What i would suggest to people is to upload images in batches of 5 for now that seems to not cause problems, and rather than spam posts, just edit the post and add additional images to the gallery

One feature that might be worth adding is an autosave feature for those who like to compose text in browser, i personally always draft in notepad or word before i post anything, but thats just my workflow so might not work for others.
