The Warlock of Firetop Mountain Conquers Otherworld
July 20, 2014 by dracs
Otherworld Miniatures were reportedly approached last month by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone and asked if they would be interested in creating a model for the upcoming Fighting Fantasy Fest in London; so the Warlock of Firetop Mountain has left the pages and taken shape on the tabletop.
The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is of course the first and most famous of the Fighting Fantasy series of adventure books and it is so cool to see this classic character made into a collectible miniature.
This is Otherworld's first limited edition miniature and the final sculpt will be cast in pewter and available at Fighting Fantasy Fest, seeing a release on their webstore some time afterwards.
Tickets for Fighting Fantasy Fest are currently still available, which will give fans of the classic series a chance to pick up this cool collectible, as well as to meet the guests of honour Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone who will be in attendance.
What do you think of Otherworld's take on the famous magic caster? Will you be stopping by London this September to take part?

I remember getting the first edition of this book a very long time ago. There was a competition to see who could accurately map the entire dungeon complex. I got most of it but hit some inconsistency somewhere that annoyed me so much I gave up.
What a beautiful sculpt, just like the cover of the book.
