Roll Out The Armour With Footsore North America’s New Vehicles
May 18, 2020 by brennon
Footsore Miniatures North America are rocking the vehicles this month for their Moderns collection. These particular entries would be good for Modern forces as they take to the battlefield but could also work for Near Future games too.
The first of these vehicles is the Cougar MRAP which serves as a pretty bulky looking transport and rolling weapons platform! Made from a mix of metal and resin parts, this seems like the kind of rig that you'd want to use as your mobile command centre, support weapon and moving cover. I like the design and with a bit of tweaking here and there you'd be able to make it a bit more Sci-Fi too.
The same goes for their other vehicle release for this month, the Ural Typhoon.
This is a big ol' Russian vehicle for you to throw into your games. Once again, this comes with a bunch of options when it comes to gameplay. As well as being useful as a troop transport it will also give you covering fire when you get to your destination.
These are some funky new options from a rather extensive collection by Footsore North America. They have been really pushing the boat out when it comes to Moderns and it is a nice resource if you're wanting some alternative options to the likes of Spectre.
Will you be checking these out?

Very nice indeed
I’ve been window shopping a BTR-80 for Zona Alfa. The Typhoon could take its place. Does anyone know if these will be available from UK Footsore? Their moderns look amazing and I’d love to hurl money at them.
Great vehicles for a U.N.taskforce.
