Twisted’s Feygin Gets a Final Look from Demented Games
July 18, 2014 by deltagamegirl22
Demented Games' upcoming game Twisted (A Steampunk Victorian Age game) has justed released some pictures of the final work up of one of their characters: Feygin.
They have been showing this work in progress on their Facebook page for awhile now and I think it is very neat seeing how the progression happens and how one develops a miniature.
This game is scheduled to go to Kickstarter in the next couple of months. I hope we see it sooner than later as I have been anxiously awaiting the release since Adepticon.
Are you as excited as I am?

This one is really awesome! Great detail, dynamic pose. I am not a fan of steampunk myself though. But the miniature itself is great.
You’ve got to pick a pocket or two… 🙂
Definitely going to be in on this one. Between Infamy and Twisted I should have awesome steampunk Victoriana minis coming out the wazoo! lol
So many little things that would pass you by until you take a closer look. This is a nice model.
Wow, somebody made an antisemitic steampunk character with a face taken from a nazi propaganda poster. Not good. I mean, taking one of the most racist characters in Victorian fiction and ramping up the negative Jewish stereotype in this way … It’s the 21st century ffs. If it was the former then it probably wasn’t the wisest choice if understandable out of ignorance. Ditto for the face. I think you make a very fair point. In relation to 300, which is right in my area of expertise when it comes to racist stereotypes, I still watched and enjoyed the original. I passed on the sequel because it looked terrible. Unless something goes way too far over the line my attitude… Read more »
@redben I have no doubt this mini was sculpted in ignorance rather than out of malice, but I question whether this level of ignorance of antisemitic stereotypes is acceptable in someone doing this as a business.
Regarding 300, I brought it up just because that debate showed that many people on BoW are actually very informed when it comes to racial politics.
