Finally got around to basing what I’ve painted so far, these are the Age of Sigmar bases but I’m keeping them not glued in so that I can do some scenic Kings of War bases too ??

Awesome stuff.
I get the feeling for some reason, as I saw the dwarves being painted, that they were assembling from mountainous terrain. Seeing them on a sandy plain base, though looking great, didn’t gel with what I had in my minds eye. Maybe a few cork Army Painter battlefield rocks would be enough to break up the bases.

It was also quite jarring seeing plain bases to me too ? I initially just wanted to test the the pigment, so kept it clear for that,but actually quite like it clear as it really showed that dusty red and would also help I’m terms of finishing a project (a rarity for me)
I think also with them just being Dwarfs and no rocks is also a bit strange.
The good thing is they are not glued on to these so it would be easy to add stuff, I do have plenty of cork too ?
