Knight Models have just taken to the skies in Harry Potter: The Miniatures Game with this pre-order for Luna Lovegood Mounted On Thestral.

Knight Models_Luna

This model is another in a line of exceptionally large scale sculpts from Knight Models, where they move beyond the constraints of single miniatures and slip the bonds of the earth with the bat-winged murder horse.

"If he had had to give them a name, he supposed he would have called them horses, though there was something reptilian about them, too. They were completely fleshless, their black coats clinging to their skeletons, of which every bone was visible. Their heads were dragonish, and their pupil-less eyes white and staring. Wings sprouted from each wither — vast, black leathery wings that looked as though they ought to belong to giant bats. Standing still and quiet in the gathering gloom, the creatures looked eerie and sinister."

This set contains not only the stunning miniature but also the rules for using Luna while mounted and the rare artefact card allowing you to mount other wizards for your games in the wizarding world.

I suggest stealing Hagrid's motorbike and going on a boozy joyride through the clouds immediately.

This is certainly another one of the big fun miniatures from the Knight Models collection.

Will you be taking to the skies in Harry Potter?
