About the Project
Build & Paint my First Titan Titan Name: Terminatus Pax Nox Pattern: Mars Pattern Reaver Primary Armament: Melta Cannon, Power Fist, Apocalypse Missile Launcher Princeps: Joseph Wrenigan Titan Legio: Legio Atarus The plan is to build the titan magnatised to a gaming base and then build a refit yard that it wil slot into. The refit yard will also be a gaming board or part of a board. the refit yard will probably be a 2nd project once the build is done.

Decal marking test - partial success
Spray with white paint & crackle glaze - looks great
Should a done a utility gloss coat - but really positive resultsHaving fun with Crackle paint
I want to have all my iconography and markings to be cracked and aged lets test!
Glaze is very thick and unusable neat - thining it gives varying results - Thicker the better which is a bummer then a coat of oil paint to show the cracks
Application with airbrush after thining - worked a charm - can't wait to try out a full size sample
Leg & Base Build
Leg build was very stressfull trying to get a “natural” position with so many interlocking bits. Made lots of use of black tac – similar to blue-tac but stronger.
Built with JB Weld and lots of clamps.
Base is made from moulding compound – great for making foot prints as I really want to make the titan look heavy. I see to many titans on bases where they don’t impact the ground at all or have any items to give the model scale.
Cataloging, Cleaning, Filling, Filing, dry fitting and creation of a damaged leg plate
Checking everything and making sure its all in good nick, present and then a wash and scub in some detergent to get rid of the mould release that can bugger up a good paint job.
Recreated a leg plate so I can have a diorama later on showing the titan in refit
Used polymorph (heat reactive plastic to make the mould and milliput for the actual part. I then damaged the plate and inserted “granny grating” into the holes then hit the grating with a creme brule torch to melt it a bit.
Having far too much stringing out the build.
