Miniature Scenery Explore New Derelict Sci-Fi Ruins
May 5, 2020 by brennon
Miniature Scenery have been getting into the Star Wars mood over the last couple of days with the release of four new kits for their range. The first three are part of the new Derelict collection and give you some nifty shattered structures to fight around.
The collection can be found HERE and it offers up the Transport Head, Transport Body and Fighter options that you see above. Each comes with enough room within and around them that you could have a lot of fun skirmishing about on the sands of Jakku for example. Here you can also see what they look like in real life too.
These seem like they could be a lot of fun to tinker around with for the tabletop and you wouldn't need to worry too much about intricate painting with them either. A quick blast of grey, some metallics to show the ageing process and then some weathering and you're done.
You will also have noticed a fun additional kit which was also dropped into the mix over the last couple of days. When you're scavenging wrecks you need a beast of burden and that is where the Space Camel comes in.
These seem like really fun additions to their range which would be very well suited to Star Wars on the tabletop. I think it would be fun to play a little skirmishing scenario around the Space Camel in particular. Imagine that it has some precious cargo on its back and the Empire are looking to get it back!
What do you make of these new terrain pieces?

Far too much lovely stuff on that site. Love the ‘Mousemuffins Madventions’ section and the Tramp Steamer is especially nice ?
that looks fantastic and the buzzard look a great Ork bird of pray?
