The Op Announce Talisman: Star Wars For Late 2020
May 5, 2020 by brennon
Star Wars is coming to the tabletop in another form as The Op announced they are working on Talisman: Star Wars for later this year.
The game brings the classic roll-and-move mechanics of the Talisman game range to a galaxy far, far away and has you playing as both Jedi and Sith as you seek to gain power and either defeat the evil Sith or become the most powerful master of The Force.
From the cover, we can assume that eight of the twelve miniatures are going to be Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Mace Windu, Count Dooku, Seventh Sister, Ahsoka Tano, Rey and Kylo Ren. The game goes all the way up to six players so you can get a lot of friends around the tabletop for this one.
Talisman might not be the height of gameplay mechanics within the boardgame world right now but you can't ignore its mass appeal and ease of play. I for one really enjoy diving in to play a casual game of Talisman now and again and I could see it being a lot of fun to play this version with Star Wars fans.
Will you be considering this?
