Unboxing: New Battlegroup NORTHAG Miniatures | PSC Games
May 3, 2020 by brennon
We now move to the Cold War as John dives into the Battlegroup NORTHAG range and starts looking at the new miniatures from Plastic Soldier Company for the game.
In this video, we're checking out the massed forces of the Soviet Union and the British who are going to be tackling them across a wartorn Europe.
Which faction will you be fighting for?

They look ok. Was maybe expecting a little more detail depth on the vehicles but these could be first production runs and the one piers painted up looks fine
There’s quite the price difference between the Soviet set and British box but as 10mm minis I think they are ok. I was expecting a little more as well but then I’m so used to seeing the variety and detail packed into Flames of War starter sets at it’s larger scale. Look forward to see what members can do with them.
It was great to finally see what the actual production versions of these look like. The ones Piers painted up looked pretty good.
Great unboxing, sir. Just a nice weekend of content from all you folks, given the crazy state of the world. Thanks!
they look good for the scale can’t wait to see a game video.
These are much, much better than I thought at first. Looking sharp!
A bit on the fence with these, would have liked to see them assembled AND cleaned up perhaps…
Again these could be a first production run and PSC will be fine tuning the cast process to reduce flash, BUT it does look like there’s a lot of clean up needed (plus they remind me of the 1/72nds plastics we see out of eastern Europe for badly placed flash/mold lines for actually doing the clean up).
I will need to see these Ultracast in person but from the pictures so far a bit too soft on detail, a bit too much flash, and some bent guns etc. On the fence. TBH a lot of the hobby fun for me is building the 15mm plastic kits, so having kits where I am just sticking on tracks/wheels doesn’t appeal.
