We're also looking at another 3D Printing Patreon today as we delve into the new releases for May by Yannick Hennbo. His project, HeroSpawnSpot, is going to be setting the Trackers & Hunters on you next month!

This collection of models will give you some Fantasy/Steampunk style foot troops and cavalry options that would be great to slip into your unique armies on the tabletop. The selection of basic character models are the same but they come with all manner of different weapons. You've got pistols as shown above but then you've got rifles, crossbows and blunderbuss too.

You'll also notice that the troops also have access to different head options too! I also have to point out that I had never thought about making giant dogs a choice when it comes to cavalry. I guess if you've got access to fast and deadly hunting dogs then you might as well saddle up.

I think my favourite from the set has to be the Trackers & Hunters armed with crossbows. I like those big chunky weapons and they'd be great for those building an alternative Human army in something like Kings Of War.

I also think that you could find a use for these models as alternatives in games like Warmachine perhaps too. The Steampunk style matches nicely with that range and I could easily see them making it into a Cygnar army for example.

So, if you're getting into the 3D printing mood then you might want to explore the work by HeroSpawnSpot and Yannick Hennebo too. A lot of sculptors are turning to Patreon right now to help them develop new projects so make sure to give some support to those that you can.

What do you think of this set of May releases?
