Empress Miniatures Craft Their Vietnam War PBR Crew
April 29, 2020 by brennon
Empress Miniatures have now added another teaser into the mix for their Vietnam War range. Here we have the PBR Crew for, well, their PBR. See if you recognise these particular characters...
So here we have Jay "Chef'" Hicks, Chief Phillips, Captain Benjamin L. Willard, Lance B. Johnson and finally Tyrone "Clean" Miller. As they mentioned in their announcement for the range, the crew and the film they are known for seem rather apt in the current world situation.
They are going to be clambering onboard this PBR so they can take to the rivers of Vietnam.
This is going to be a very cool little kit to play around with and I could see a lot of people working on dioramas and such which include this. The Vietnam War is certainly one which evokes all manner of different gaming ideas, terrain projects and more. We had a lot of fun playing around with it in 15mm back in the day but I think it shines in 28mm.
I reckon this is mainly to do with the skirmishing nature of battles during this period with small teams of soldiers going up against numerous foes.
What do you think of the crew?
