Wise Old Women & Plucky Youths Join Hel: The Last Saga
April 27, 2020 by brennon
A few more characters popped up over the weekend from Mythic Games for Hel: The Last Saga. This time around they delved into a bit of the eldritch for their Dark Fantasy board game and told us a tale of Ingwild The Sorceress.
Ingwild The Sorceress has managed to avoid being cast into a fire thanks to her knowledge of the old ways. Her healing hands allow her to help even the most stricken of warriors and as she gazes into the future, many of her portents might be of use during your travels. She seems to be a woman you'd want to avoid angering whilst also keeping a close eye on.
As with all of the previews, here is a peek at the model which was painted up by Sébastien Lavigne.
With a look to the old and the wise, we then turn to a peek that Mythic gave us to the youngest member of the troupe.
A Boy & His Dog
The spirit of youth can sometimes break those who are stuck in their ways out of their stupors and it appears like Jorik, The Lad might be more important to your group than it may seem.
Jorik has a taste for adventure and even after losing his father at sea, he seems to be thrilled by the prospect of venturing out on a new expedition. Children also have quite the way with words and no doubt he will be fairly forceful in voicing his opinions should he see something he doesn't like.
There is already a really interesting mix of characters being drawn together for Hel: The Last Saga and Mythic Games have promised that as well as all of these lovely art previews, we are going to be seeing some gameplay soon.
We heard about the game last year at a lot of events but not much when it came to specifics of gameplay. With a few different games now under their belt, it will be interesting to see which avenue Mythic explore when it comes to Hel: The Last Saga.
What do you make of these new previews?

I have to admit I wasn’t expecting a child after the previews we have had but both Jorik and Ingwild are looking pretty good ?
Great doggo.
