Warploque Show Off New ArcWorlde Options & What’s Next!
April 20, 2020 by brennon
Warploque Miniatures has been showing off some of the new goodies coming to the world of ArcWorlde and also a teaser for the future too. Over the weekend they were offering up some peeks at what will be dropping into the mix for the Beastfolk and Halflings in particular.
Whilst you'll have to venture deeper into their range and look at some separate options for the Beastfolk right now, this does give you a good idea of what's on the cards for them. Developed as part of their last Kickstarter, the Beastfolk are a really awesome and varied collection of models which are packed with the trademark character we've come to expect from Warploque.
The same goes for the Halflings who have been getting ready for a clash against invaders from afar. Whilst the militia has been arming themselves and protecting their borders, some enterprising Halflings have been adding catapults to the back of cows!
This is another really nice and characterful set which comes with some brilliant options for those wanting to build up a warband of surly little folk. It's neat seeing a collection which is made up of individual characters, each uniquely sculpted. It means when you get to painting up your warband you'll no doubt find yourself coming up with names for each of them! Maybe that's just me...
The Future
As well as showing off some great new models for ArcWorlde, the team also previewed what's coming next. First up, a new Kickstarter which will update the ranges for the Bayourks and the Imperials.
Both collections are going to see an evolution to bring them in line with the rest of the updated sculpts for the game and no doubt there will be a few surprises in the mix too. As I mentioned on The Weekender, the range from Warploque brings together old school interpretations of these races whilst also doing something new too.
Additionally, Warploque Miniatures is also going to be joining many other creators in setting up a Digital Workshop which will provide Patreon backers with STL files to print at home.
This is something which we've seen a lot of creators moving towards over the past year or so. With more people able to print off miniatures at home, this could well be a nice direction for a lot of hobbyists to look if they want to support their favourite companies.
Hopefully, we'll get a chance to test print some of these to see how they come out!

I’m absolutely delighted with the halflings that arrived on Saturday. I need to add the thing flinger at some point (and the old trolls, damn I love those models). Please keep things coming, Alex!
These are two fun sets with a lot of talent on show and that bagpipe playing hare is new favourite of mine. I hadn’t taken the time to look at Arcworlde before but from browsing the site and watching Alex’s videos the game looks like great fun and will be taking a closer look.
Great looking figures is that a wererat in the beastfolk group.
Got my Kickstarter bits yesterday. Amazing. Best resins I’ve ever got.
I know. Rob Hunyley, Alex’s Dad is the resin caster and he does a hell of great job.
These are the two factions that I got from the kickstarter. I can’t wait to get my hands on them.
