Awaken Realms Announce Nemesis: Lockdown Expansion
April 14, 2020 by brennon
Awaken Realms has been previewing a new expansion for Nemesis, their hit game of alien survival against an unrelenting foe. Nemesis: Lockdown is coming to Kickstarter in May/June of this year and it will take you to a terrifying base on Mars.
This new expansion as we called it is also a standalone game which means you don't need the original Nemesis in order to play. However, if you do have access to the original game then you can mix the two together and take your characters from one to the next. As well as characters, you'll also find that a lot of the original alien creatures will also find a place in Lockdown too.
As well as a new story which takes place on Mars, you'll also find yourself playing around some new gameplay elements too.
- Multi-Level Bases - The game now takes place across multiple levels of the base, meaning that you'll have to bear in mind where you are at all times.
- Red Alert - A new way to play mind games with your friends is on the way.
- Darkness - Throwing more nervousness into the mix you'll also find yourself having to worry about light as well as how much ammo you have
- More - New items and weapons, community-created characters, solo mode with a companion app and much more.
There is a bit more you can go and check out over on the preview page for Nemesis: Lockdown. They are currently building it up right now so this is a chance to feed into their project and talk about it with them too.
Are you going to be heading to Mars with Awaken Realms?

Looks to be a great survival game.
From the title I assumed this was a post-apocalyptic game which follows society collapsing post-pandemic lockdown. Reading the article I see I was mistaken.
May 1st can’t get here soon enough…
I thought a will not partizipate in a KS this year, but this one could crush my decision. 🙂
