John is joined in the studio by Chris from Battlefront Miniatures to talk about the new D-Day British Command Cards. Chris has the job of convincing a sceptic like John to how the command cards can be one of the most useful assets in a player's arsenal. From named soldiers to unit upgrades it's not too difficult a task.
What kind of British force are you looking to assemble?

To keep up with the new stuff, i always try to get one new force and cobble together another from my existing stuff. This allows me to always add to my existing forces. For the british, will be making a Cromwell Armoured Recce unit. Something about the speed of the cromwell and some Stuart scount tanks to expand the initial deployment area. With a couple of Motor company’s also included and Achilles tank destroyers and Typhoon air support, have the makings of a nice and quick strike force. great specialty cards.
These command cards are a good way of tailoring your force or to give it a little bit more in a key area. I like running Churchill tanks, so the command card in this set that gives your infantry a better rally if within a certain distance of a Churchill looks a good option for me.
Time for some more Flames of War IV.
I’ll have to check my usual supplier and see if they have these in stock along with the British book. They went fast when the book was first released.
