Cubicle 7 Take A Peek Inside New Wrath & Glory Rulebook

April 7, 2020 by brennon

Cubicle 7 has been previewing more of what they have been working on behind the scenes. Whilst they have their sights set on the release of the PDF for Soulbound soon, they have also been talking about what's coming for Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay and Wrath & Glory.

The latest preview has been focused on showing off the layout of the new book and some of the art assets that you'll find within its pages. I have to say, the new book is looking very nice indeed and the design of it seems top notch. It seems like Cubicle 7 is also working along the same lines with Archetypes as they have done with Soulbound, tweaking things a little to make it easy to just jump in.

One of the things I like about Wrath & Glory is that they have taken an approach that covers a vast swathe of the Warhammer 40,000 world, at least within the Imperium anyway. You can play as grizzled veteran Imperial Guardsmen, Tech-Priests, Freebooters, Inquisitors and of course even Space Marines.

Much like with Soulbound, it will be interesting to see how they balance these power levels throughout the game but its good to see that those options are there. It seems like Cubicle 7 are looking to offer you the tools to make stories set in all manner of different settings.

It also sounds like a little bit of an old man comment but I am so glad that the pages aren't absolutely packed with text. Having that simple layout with nicely spaced out text which is easily viewable makes the experience of reading a rulebook all the more fun.

I will certainly be very interested to dive deeper into this book!
