Security work has been taking up most of my waking hours so I’m getting downtime when I can. The confirmed cases here of kung flu at this shelter for homeless suspected of infection has jumped. My frustration with staff and policies has grown at a rate relative to it. I’m reminded of past military training related to infection control in a med unit, vet tech study for lab animal care and clean room procedures for some security posts and I shake my head. Good practice can only go so far without better equipment.
- I think I’m going alright physically. Things are a bit hairy with one of the gf’s kidneys and the work environment is dicey so the other aspects of me are a bit frazzled.
- I think I badly need a nap, uninterrupted hobby time and some hardcore distraction in gaming for a while. In the meantime, until that happens again, I have you chummers to commiserate with.
