Things Get Spooky Thanks to Micro Art’s Latest Bases
July 2, 2014 by dracs
Micro Art Studios have released a couple of new bases from their webstore, expanding a previous selection with some even Spookier bases.
These bases might be some of my favourites from Micro Art Studio so far, with a brilliantly creepy style that fits all the undead forces of fantasy out there, although I have to admit that the only thing I can think of when I see them is the Underworld from Disney's Hercules.
However, these bases do seem to suffer from the same problems we have seen previously with Micro Art's base range, namely they are so detailed that they might be a bit difficult to actually base your miniatures on.
Have you ever used any of Micro Art Studio's bases?

Those are stunning, almost too good to put minis on. I’ve found some scenic bases to be too fiddly in how they’re sculpted to be of any practical purpose, depending on the mini in question, as there’s often very little flat surfaces to work with. Still these are a huge improvement on the other spooky bases. Well done Micro Arts 🙂
These do look amazing, the rocks look like they’re strategically placed for feet – especially on the square bases. A necromancer or chaos sorcerer would look awesome on one of these!
