Games Workshop has been keeping things ticking over for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game too as they showed off a new plastic miniature for Eomer. If you're looking to build a new Rohan force for use in-game then take a peek at this kit with loads of options.

The kit comes with options for you to build both a mounted and on-foot version of Eomer armed with different weapons and with various heads too. Above you can see the version of him on horseback with helmet and sword at the ready but you can also craft him with a spear in hand, ready to bring down a War Mumak and its tamer.

Eomer Mounted No Helmet - Games Workshop

With a little bit of swapping around when it comes to the arms and head, you can make some very nice and dynamic changes. I think I'd go for the version with his sword out and helmet off so you'd be able to see where he was on the battlefield at any given time, charging headlong into the action.

When on foot, Eomer is looking a little bit more relaxed. He has been posed in more of a "come at me bro" stance here with sword and shield at the ready before a horde of Orcs. This might be a good version of the model to make when getting him embroiled in the final moments of Helm's Deep.

Eomer On Foot Helmet - Games Workshop

You can also arm him with a spear on foot too. This particular take on him does make him look exceptionally dashing although I don't think you could really say that they've captured Karl Urban's look this time around.

Eomer On Foot No Helmet - Games Workshop

As someone who has always been quite taken by Rohan within the world of Middle-earth, I am sorely tempted to snap up all of these new Rohan miniatures we've been seeing recently. I have quite a lot of miniatures sitting in a box somewhere which I was going to use to start up a Battle Companies force but never got around to it. Since we're all locked away in quarantine it might be a good idea to break out all those old miniatures and give them a sort!

What do you make of this new take on Eomer?
