About the Project
I had backed the Deadzone 2.0 Kickstarter as it looked like a good intro game for my wife and daughter. I had built the terrain, but didn't paint them and only painted enough minis to start. They liked it, but my wife has preferred Core Space. Now I want to paint the terrain and some of the specialists and vehicles to give some more options in list building.

Deadzone progress
I made a few additional platforms using chipboard and drywall tape.
The base was a mix of the light grey and the blue over a black primer. Then used the light grey. Used bronze for the gratings and railings. Black wash over all and sponged terracota as rust. Not thrilled with how the gratings came out. Still look a little too new.
Next, onto the miniatures. Working on some peacekeepers and the Strider first.
