CMON Peek At ANKH: Gods Of Egypt’s Mighty Anubis
March 19, 2020 by brennon
CMON has started to preview more of its new board game, ANKH: Gods Of Egypt which is the next product from Eric Lang. Here we have a look at the mighty model that represents Anubis in the game.
ANKH: Gods of Egypt looks like it is going to be an interesting game in the same vein as Blood Rage and Rising Sun. Big miniatures take central stage but the gameplay is likely to also be a nice new interpretation of an old classic. It will be very cool to see what Lang has lined up! We have a little bit of information on the internet...
"Build caravans, summon monsters, and convert followers in your quest to reign supreme in Ankh: Gods of Egypt. Deities, monsters, and the people of ancient Egypt have been lovingly reimagined and interpreted in beautiful illustrations and detailed miniatures, and players will truly feel like gods as they shake the very foundations of Egypt. All gameplay in Ankh, including combat, is streamlined and non-random. Compete and win solely on your godly wits alone."
I am very interested although it will have to be very good to pull me away from the likes of Kemet!
What do you think of this Anubis model?

Are they going to screw up shipping like they did on their last KS? Where retailers will have wave 1 shipping and you can also have wave 1 shipping as long as you also split up your product to pay for Wave 1 and Wave II shipping and then close their pledge manager and allow you to get a refund but without allowing you to see what the cost of shipping would be? Thanks, but no thanks. If they comes to retail I may consider it after there have been enough reviews.
The figures do look good.
